Tripadvisor Review for The Helicopter Museum

The Helicopter Museum

The Helicopter Museum is pleased to announce that we are OPEN

We look forward to welcoming all our visitors back

However, any visitors experiencing any Covid19 symptoms should
refrain from visiting to protect our other visitors, volunteers and staff

Covid19 control measures have been introduced throughout the museum to protect
our visitors, volunteers and staff and we ask all visitors to adhere to these at all times

 They include:
A one way route through our exhibition hangars

Wearing of face covering

Hand sanitizer stations
Regularly cleaned washroom facilities
Contactless payment whenever possible
A record of visitors emergency contact details held for 21 days in line with GDP

The Helicopter Museum in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset was forced to furlough all its paid staff following
the UK government enforced closure of leisure attractions during the COVID-19 virus crisis earlier this year.
The Museum has also taken steps to minimise all expenditure in an effort to ensure survival over the coming months

However the museum has seen the loss of all its summertime programme of special events,
as well as its peak season visitors, amounting to an estimated 200,000 in near term
lost revenue and delays in completing a planned business extension, which is due to have new
learning facilities, conference space and retail and restaurant areas.

As a result the Trustees are seeking donations from supporters and the wider helicopter industry
to ensure the survival of the unique collection, please donate any sum directly to the museum.
