Open Cockpit one day Special

13th June 2021
Between 11am and 1pm Only

Whilst the museum is still unable to offer the full Open Cockpit Experience our Visitors are used to we will
be opening up a 'covid compliant' Open Cockpit

This will take place on Sunday 13th June
between 11am and 1pm ONLY

Visitors will be able to sit in the pilots seat of the
Westland 30 and have the controls explained
to them by a tour guide outside

We ask visitors to kindly only touch the relevant
controls and handles indicated and NOT
to touch any other areas of the cockpit

Sadly no helicopter helmets will be available
to visitors on this occasion

As the relevant areas of the cockpit will need to be
cleaned and disinfected between each visitor
we ask people to be patient and maintain social
distancing whilst waiting

Visitors will be asked to book a time slot when they enter
the museum if they wish to participate
Only one person will be allowed in the helicopter
at any one time and face masks MUST be worn

There are no extra charges for the Open Cockpit

The Museum reserves the right to amend times,
conditions and politely turn away any visitor
refusing to follow the compliance rules
