International Helidays 2010


 


A three day Helicopter Fly-in and fun spectacular along Weston Sea Front, with helicopters arriving and departing over the three days and a static display of Military and Civil helicopters.

2010 will be the 20th anniversary event and will take place on
23rd to 25th July 2010

On Friday 23 July 2010 at 1200 midday local time a Lockheed MC-130P “Combat Shadow” tanker aircraft and a Sikorsky HH-60G “Pavehawk” rescue helicopter both from the United States Air Force will demonstrate the in flight re-fuelling capability of both aircraft.

Following the demonstration, the HH-60 will break off from the tanker and land on the beach lawns for the duration of the “Helidays” weekend.

Over the weekend helicopter pleasure flights will operate from the beach.
