The Helicopter Museum is the largest dedicated Helicopter Collection in the world with over
100 helicopters on display in an all
weather undercover hanger

Exhibits include two of the Queen's Royal Flight helicopters, the current world speed record holder G-LYNX, a Vietnam Veteran Huey and
a Russian Hind Gun Ship

You can also visit the restored WWII Pilots Block and Weston Aviation Exhibition
detailing  Weston's aviation history

Visitor Notice

Following the latest new Government
directive on 22nd February 2021

The Helicopter Museum is pleased to
announce that we plan to
re-open on the 19th May 2021
subject to any updated
Government directives

We look forward to welcoming all
our visitors back

However, any visitors experiencing any
Covid19 symptoms should refrain from visiting
to protect our other visitors, volunteers and staff

 Covid19 control measures have been introduced throughout the museum to protect our visitors, volunteers and staff and we ask all visitors to adhere to these at all times

 They include:

  • A one way route through our exhibition hangars

  • Wearing of face covering

  • Hand sanitizer stations

  • Regularly cleaned washroom facilities

  • Contactless payment whenever possible

  • A record of visitors emergency contact details held for 21 days in line with GDP



Our film theatre is open but adhering to social distancing measures and playing a short film

Hot food, Hot drinks, Soft drinks and
ice creams are available in our Cafe
plus the Gift shop and
2nd Hand Book Sales are open

and also covers entry to most
of the extra museum events throughout the year

Ensure you have your tickets stamped before leaving the
museum on your first visit
